This training is for anyone in working in relief, humanitarian or development contexts who is involved with project planning or with an active role in M&E, data collection, analysis or reporting. This training integrates the Results-Based Management philosophy and principles, enabling you to consistently deliver positive, measurable change that meets the expectations of your stakeholders and donors. You will also master the Logical Framework Approach, a key methodology in project design, Monitoring and Evaluation for relief, humanitarian and community development initiatives.
You will learn a step-by-step process for project design and M&E planning that will support delivering impactful project results. Gain the expertise to:
- CONNECT THEORY TO REAL CHANGE: Learn how to apply the Results-Based Management philosophy and principles to drive results.
- DESIGN PROJECTS THAT DELIVER: Use the Logical Framework Approach to design, monitor and evaluate relief, humanitarian and community development projects.
- PLAN FOR M&E: Learn how to integrate your M&E planning to track and consistently deliver positive, measurable change, supporting responsive decision-making.
COURSE PROCESS
This is a combination of dynamic weekly live on-line sessions and off-line self study. Here's what you can expect:
- DYNAMIC LIVE SESSIONS: Engage in five interactive weekly live sessions (recorded for future reference), where expert instructor Neil Kendrick will guide you through the learning process. Each week we meet live for around 60 minutes to discuss the application of the tools and explore any questions.
- FLEXIBLE SELF-STUDY: Work through video presentations and tasks at your own pace between meetings.
- TEST YOUR UNDERSTANDING: Short quizzes at the end of each module let you test your knowledge and help you reflect deeper on the learning points.
- DISCUSSION SPACES: At the end of each module, leave reflections and questions in the Discussion sections for discussion or for the next meeting.
- DEDICATED SUPPORT: Dedicated support is available throughout the course duration for any technical issues or additional questions.
